Rus Nerwich Trio featuring Rus Nerwich on saxophone, Wesley Rustin on bass and Jonno Sweetman on drums. Capetonian saxophonist, composer and producer Rus Nerwich has established himself as one of South Africa’s most creative and prolific recording and performing artists. Crossing genres from jazz and funk to world music and neo-soul, Rus’ style is diverse, engaging and constantly evolving.

A memorable and engaging live performer, Rus has taken his unique sound and musical style on tour to France, Belgium, Canada, Argentina, Israel and beyond.  He has performed as a solo artist and collaborated with international artists including Belgian singer-songwriter N8N, producer Erik Rico and Dutch MC Pete Philly.  In late 2017, Rus embarked on a European and Canadian tour with concerts in Belgium, Toronto and Montreal.
